Visit a family-run winery and learn about Crete’s centuries-old winemaking heritage before enjoying a guided tasting of 6–7 locally produced wines. Continue to a traditional olive oil mill, where you will discover how extra virgin olive oil is made and taste a selection of olive oils, local honey, and Cretan delicacies such as cheese, rusks, cherry tomatoes, and olives.

Your experience also includes a visit to a traditional wood-fired bakery, where you can see how local bread, rusks, and kalitsounia pastries are prepared. Depending on the season, you may also visit a local cheese factory and learn about the production of traditional Cretan cheeses, including Graviera.

Along the way, explore the Cave of Saint John the Hermit and admire the Monumental Olive Tree of Vouves, considered one of the oldest olive trees in the world.
