We then continue to the historic Arkadi Monastery, one of the most important monuments in Crete and a symbol of resistance and faith. Its origins date back centuries, making it the oldest monastery on the island. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious meal at a local tavern in a traditional mountain village, accompanied by the vibrant melodies of live Cretan music. After lunch, take a walk in the village of Apostoli and visit the old olive oil factory to learn about the time-honored process of olive oil production. Our final stop is the breathtaking Saint Antonios Gorge – a natural wonder offering serene landscapes and a peaceful atmosphere to conclude this memorable excursion.Please note: The tour involves some walking, so comfortable shoes and a hat are recommended.
