Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Yogyakarta. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic drive through rice fields, local villages, and highland landscapes. Along the way, your guide will share stories about Yogyakarta’s culture, traditions, and daily life.

Upon arrival at the basecamp, be welcomed with snacks and a refreshing welcome drink. After a short briefing and preparation, begin the 3 - 4 hour soft trekking journey (round trip).

Start with a meaningful tree-planting activity as part of the reforestation efforts in the Merapi National Park area, which was heavily affected by the eruption on 11 November 2010.

Continue your trek toward one of the best viewpoints to witness the breathtaking scenery of Mount Merapi, known as one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia. Enjoy spectacular views while sipping coffee or tea and tasting local fruits.

The trek continues to a beautiful savanna area, where you may also spot wild orchids growing naturally on the cliffs. Visit a small orchid conservation area before trekking back to the basecamp. After the trek, be driven back to your hotel.
