Akureyri: 4-Day Knitting Tour with the locals

Immerse yourself in Icelandic culture on a 4-day knitting tour from Akureyri.Enjoy the culture,visit the Godafoss waterfall, go whale watching, and relax in the thermal Forest Lagoon.
Meet your knitting expert and guide, who will be your mentor throughout your stay. On the first day, go over patterns, designs, colors of wool, and sizes with your guide, choosing your personal Icelandic wool item that will be your knitting project for the remainder of the tour. Note that wool for bigger projects is not included in price.
In winter we will embark on a Northern Lights hunt with your guides, enjoying hot cocoa and a relaxed atmosphere.

On day two, explore the nature and meet the local handcraft people of the North Iceland region. Drive to the magnificent Godafoss waterfall, where you will have a good period of time to enjoy this magnificent waterfall.
After that, visit a local handcraft woman who lives on a nearby farm. She will show you all that she is doing with different materials and tell you about life on an Icelandic farm. End this day with a good soak in the thermal Forest Lagoon, just on the outskirts of Akureyri town.

On the third day, go on a whale-watching tour where, hopefully, you will see those gentle giants in their own environment. After that, meet a local handcraft expert and end the day at a local beer brewery before heading back to Akureyri.

Of course, you will have your knitting with you all the time, as the guide for all the tours is your knitting expert. The fourth day is your knitting day in relaxation with your guide. Take a stroll in Akureyri, have lunch at a nice cafe, and enjoy good company, wellness, stories, and knitting.
NOTE! Minimum for this tour is 4 persons.
