Keep your belongings secure; while the deer in Nara Park are generally friendly, they can be attracted to loose items such as maps or snacks.
Respect the wildlife and cultural sites; do not feed the deer anything other than the designated deer crackers, and observe all posted signs and guidelines at temples and historical sites.

If you are arriving by train, please exit through the East Gate and head toward Exit 3. At Exit 3, go up either the stairs or the escalator next to the stairs, and you’ll see a tourist information center. I’ll be waiting nearby with a sign displaying the “Get Your Guide” logo to make it easier for you to find me.
If you are arriving by taxi or on foot, please go to the ground level (street level) of Kintetsu Nara Station. There is a tourist information center located inside the building at the same level as the road outside. I will be waiting nearby with a “Get Your Guide” logo.
