As we approach the KICC, observe this distinctive, iconic skyscraper that once held the title of Nairobi's tallest building. Its unique architecture is a landmark in the city. The KICC is a hub for major national and international conferences and events. The rooftop observation deck offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the sprawling city, a great spot to orient ourselves and see how Nairobi has grown.

This is a place for quiet reflection, established in memory of the victims of the 1998 US Embassy bombing in Nairobi". The park, which sits on the site of the former embassy, honors those who lost their lives and emphasizes the importance of peace and coexistence.

Our next stop is the Kenya National Archives, a treasure trove of Kenya's rich heritage". Housed in a magnificent building, it features an extensive collection of historical documents, photographs, and artifacts from pre-colonial and colonial eras, including the personal collection of the country's first Vice President, Joseph Murumbi. It's a fantastic place to learn about the complexities of Kenya's history and the diverse cultures across Africa.
