Visit Lake Parón, the largest in the Cordillera Blanca, and admire spectacular views of towering snow-capped mountains in an incomparable natural setting.
Discover the beauty of the Parón Lagoon, the largest glacial lake in the Cordillera Blanca and one of the most impressive natural landscapes in the Huascarán National Park.

The route from Huaraz passes through the spectacular landscapes of the Callejón de Huaylas until you reach this extraordinary mirror of deep turquoise water, surrounded by some of the most iconic snow-capped peaks of the Peruvian Andes.

Upon arriving at the lagoon, you'll have time to explore its surroundings, relax, and take in a landscape dominated by mountains over 6,000 meters high. From this privileged spot, you can admire the snow-capped Huandoy, Pisco, Pirámide de Garcilaso, and Artesonraju — known worldwide for inspiring the Paramount Pictures logo — and La Esfinge, an imposing rock face highly prized by mountaineers from all over the world.

Those who want a better perspective can take an optional walk of approximately one hour to a natural vantage point, from which you can enjoy some of the most spectacular views of the lagoon and the Cordillera Blanca.

During the visit, you'll have time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the tranquility of this high-mountain environment, considered one of the must-see destinations for nature and photography lovers.

At the end of the experience, you will return to Huaraz after having seen one of the most iconic landscapes in northern Peru.

Bringing a packed lunch is recommended so you can enjoy lunch during the excursion.

The meeting point to start the sightseeing tour will be at our office on Jr. José de Sucre No. 723 (next to Bco. BBVA Plaza de Armas). The activity ends with transport to our operator's offices (near the square). It does not include a drop-off at the hotel.
