Itinerary
At 7:00 a.m. we will pick you up from your hotel in Huaraz and leave the city behind to travel for three hours to the town of Pitec, in the heart of Huascarán National Park.
Ready? From the village we will begin to ascend along different paths to reach our destination. The climb will take approximately four hours and we will travel through rocky paths while we contemplate the Shaqsha and Cashan mountains, belonging to the Cordillera Blanca. Open your eyes wide!
And finally, we will reach the Churup lagoon, located at 4,485 meters of altitude and of glacial origin. If we look up, we can admire the Churup peak, which stands out for its needles and curious geology. There you will have free time to have lunch while you enjoy this Andean paradise.
Time to say goodbye! We will set off to descend the ravine until we reach Pitec, where we will get into the car to return to Huaraz. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
