Experience the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu on a 5-day adventure through some of the most spectacular landscapes of the Peruvian Andes. Hike through high mountain passes, glacial lagoons, cloud forests and lush valleys while traveling along our premium Salkantay route.
Your journey begins in Cusco and takes you through the Qoyllor and Inkachiriasqa lagoons before reaching Salkantaypampa and the impressive Salkantay Pass. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of snow-capped mountains, glaciers, rivers and waterfalls.
Continue through the cloud forest to Lucmabamba, where you can discover the region's coffee-growing traditions, before hiking to Llactapata. From here, enjoy your first views of Machu Picchu before continuing to Hidroeléctrica and then Aguas Calientes.
On the final day, visit Machu Picchu with a professional guide and explore its remarkable archaeological sectors. After your guided visit and free time, return to Aguas Calientes by bus and begin your journey back to Cusco by train and road.
