Start your easygoing rainforest adventure at the magnificent El Portal Visitor Center, where you can learn about the forest ecology, native species, and history through interactive exhibits that are fun for all ages and fully wheelchair accessible.

Enjoy a easy walk (optional) along the accessible interpretative trail of El Portal, offering an opportunity to immerse in the lush rainforest to find its unique animals and plants. (Note: Part of the trail is made of concrete and is accessible to wheelchairs. Another section is on gravel and is not suited for wheelchairs nor people with limited mobility. The gravel trail is completely optional).

The bus tour continues in the recreational area of Palo Colorado and Baño Grande, two historic sites with a natural swimming pool from the 1940s.

Your guide will then lead you to Yokahú Tower, which features an observation deck for panoramic wildlife spotting and scenic views of the rainforest and northeastern Puerto Rico.

This tour is designed for participants all ages, with short walks and free time for breaks. The tour bus has a lift and can accommodate two wheelchairs anchored to the ground. Most areas visited have wide paths suitable for strollers and wheelchairs, ensuring a relaxed pace.

This tour is a perfect opportunity to find unique plants and animals, and gain a deeper appreciation for El Yunque's role in relaxation, learning, and nature conservation in an easy-going way. The tour includes pick-up and drop-off in hotel along the San Juan touristic zone.
