We set off from Bucharest for one of the most spectacular adventures in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains. The road takes us along the Transfăgărășan Highway, famous for its dramatic curves and dreamlike landscapes. Our first stop is at the Capra Waterfall, where crystal clear water falls between the rocks, offering a fairytale image and a perfect opportunity for a relaxing break in the fresh mountain air.
Along the mountain route, we have the chance to observe brown bears in their natural habitat, a rare and special experience that reminds us of how rich and protected the fauna of this area is.
The next stop is Lake Bâlea, a glacial lake like a blue mirror, surrounded by towering peaks. We enjoy the impressive landscapes and the tranquility of the mountains before returning to Bucharest
On the way back to Bucharest, we will descend spectacularly on the Transfăgărășan Highway, enjoying once again the impressive views of the Fagaras Mountains. We will cross picturesque landscapes, traditional villages and forested valleys, having the opportunity to capture the last photos of one of the most spectacular roads in the world. After a day full of memorable experiences at Bâlea Lac, we will return to the capital with unforgettable memories and stories about the authentic beauty of Romania.
