Begin your shore excursion with a convenient pickup from Hawes Pier in Queensferry. Tours are for a maximum of 6 people in our luxury MPV.
Our tours are planned around ship schedules to ensure you maximise your time on land and are returned back to the ship in plenty time.
Your chauffeur will meet and greet you at Hawes Pier at an agreed time and then head to Midhope Castle, known as Lallybroch in the Outlander series. Explore the grounds and meet the resident Highland cows.
Next, visit Blackness Castle, the filming location for Fort William, and admire its impressive architecture. Continue to Linlithgow, where you can enjoy lunch at a local pub or restaurant.
After lunch, visit Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots and the setting for Wentworth Prison in Outlander. Explore the historic rooms and learn about the palace's royal connections.
Finally, arrive at the village of Culross, known as Cranesmuir in the series. See the Mercat Cross, Geillis Duncan’s house, and the herb garden. Stroll through the cobbled streets and stop for a pint at the Red Lion Pub before returning to Hawes Pier.
