Explore Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye and the Scottish Highlands on a 5-day adventure from Edinburgh, packed with epic scenery, local legends and new travel friends.
Leave Edinburgh behind and head deep into the Scottish Highlands on five unforgettable days of adventure, history and spectacular scenery. Travel with a local Scottish guide and a group of like-minded travellers as you discover some of the country’s most iconic locations.
Journey north through Perthshire and the Cairngorms, stopping at historic sites including Culloden Battlefield and the ancient Clava Cairns. Arrive at legendary Loch Ness, where you can search for Nessie, take a dip in the loch, and spend the night surrounded by Highland landscapes.
Continue west through some of Scotland’s most dramatic scenery, including Corrieshalloch Gorge, Torridon and the shores of Loch Carron. Stop for photos of the iconic Eilean Donan Castle before crossing onto the Isle of Skye.
Spend the next day exploring Skye’s rugged beauty. Visit the colourful harbour town of Portree and discover famous landmarks including the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and the Quiraing. With plenty of opportunities to get off the bus, expect moderate hikes, stunning viewpoints, short walks and unforgettable landscapes.
Leaving Skye behind, travel along the famous Road to the Isles and stop at Glenfinnan Viaduct before continuing through Fort William and beneath Ben Nevis. Later, explore the dramatic valley of Glencoe and learn about the events that shaped its history.
On your final day, journey through Argyll and the Trossachs, taking in lochs, mountains and historic landmarks before returning to Edinburgh with new friends, incredible photos and memories to last a lifetime.

These tours are strictly designed for 18-35 year olds. Please do not book a tour with us if you are outside this age range as you may be denied boarding. Passports or Identification Documents will be checked at time of boarding. If you wish to reserve accommodation for your tour you can simply pay £38 per night on arrival when you check-in for your tour.

Please meet at Castle Rock Hostel in Edinburgh at least 30 minutes before departure in order to sign in for the tour and pay any outstanding balances for accommodation or merchandise. Tours leave at 8 am during winter months (November-end March) and 9 am during summer (April-end October).
It is up to the guest to arrive at the departure point on time and due to lack of sunlight in winter we cannot wait for late guests.
