This 7-hour guided tour offers a deep and educational understanding of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Designed for travelers seeking a meaningful and insightful experience, this tour goes beyond memorial visits to include carefully presented testimonies and historical context.
Begin at the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the history and impact of the genocide.
We will continue by visiting a genocide survivor at his home, where he will share what he went through during Genocide. We will also meet a former perpetrator who has completed his sentence and now speaks about his past actions and how he involved in the genocide.
We will then travel to Kabgayi Memorial Site and Kamonyi, important locations that provide deeper insight into events that occurred outside Kigali.
