Departure from San Salvador at dawn to paddle on Lake Ilopango. Includes transportation, kayaking, and exclusive access to the pier, pool, and hammocks at Hotel El Faro.
Depart from San Salvador before sunrise and arrive at Lake Ilopango as the sun begins to rise over the mountains of the volcanic caldera. Paddle from the private pier of Hotel El Faro — access reserved only for our guests.
Our local guide meets you at the pier, hands over the gear, and gives a short safety briefing. Choose your single or double kayak, put on your vest, and head out onto the water just when the lake is at its calmest: no wind, no boats, just the sound of the paddles.
Upon returning to the wharf, you have free access to the private facilities of Hotel El Faro: swimming pool, hammocks, and rest areas. You can take a dip, sunbathe, and unwind before the return transfer to San Salvador.
An active, peaceful experience with admission to a space that is not open to the general public.
