In the late afternoon, head to the city center where your reserved seats await along the main Perahera route, near the Temple of the Tooth Relic. As the festival attracts large crowds, dinner will be provided as a packed meal. We recommend enjoying a late lunch before the procession begins.

As night falls, the grand parade comes to life. Hundreds of performers fill the streets with rhythmic drumming, traditional Kandyan dance, fire performances, and beautifully decorated elephants illuminated by thousands of lights. After the procession ends, return to your hotel in Kandy for a comfortable overnight stay.

The following day unfolds at a relaxed pace. After breakfast, enjoy a morning of local exploration with your guide. Possible visits include a peaceful hilltop Buddhist temple, a traditional tea factory, and time to browse for local handicrafts.

Later, continue to Ambuluwawa Biodiversity Complex, known for its unique tower and panoramic views across the surrounding mountains and valleys. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a welcoming village restaurant run by a local Sri Lankan family.
