Explore Sri Lanka at your own pace on a customizable private tour lasting 2 to 10 days. Travel with a local chauffeur-guide and discover ancient kingdoms, hidden heritage sites, tea country landscapes, scenic train routes, and cultural landmarks. This flexible experience allows you to choose which attractions and activities you would like to visit along the journey.
Day 1: Colombo to Anuradhapura
Begin with pickup from Colombo, Negombo, or the airport and travel to the ancient city of Anuradhapura for your overnight stay.
Day 2: Anuradhapura to Sigiriya
Guests may choose to explore the archaeological highlights of Anuradhapura before continuing to Sigiriya.
Day 3: Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa
Choose to visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa and enjoy views around the Minneriya Lake area. Guests may also request an optional visit to a nearby national park. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Day 4: Sigiriya to Kandy
Choose between climbing Sigiriya Rock Fortress or Pidurangala Rock. Continue to the Dambulla Cave Temple if desired before visiting the unique Nalanda Gedige Temple. Optional stop at the colorful Matale Hindu Temple. Overnight in Kandy.
Day 5: Kandy Discovery to Nuwara Eliya
Explore Kandy's most famous attractions. Optional visits include the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Royal Botanical Garden, Bahirawakanda Temple, and Kandy Viewpoint. Guests may also attend an optional cultural dance performance. Travel through Sri Lanka's tea country with stops at Ramboda Falls, a tea plantation, and a tea factory. Visit the historic Nuwara Eliya Post Office and optionally Gregory Lake.
Day 6: Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Choose an optional scenic train ride from Nanu Oya or Ambewela to Ella. Visit Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam's Peak. Optional Flying Ravana Zip Line experience.
Day 7: Ella Adventure Day
Customize your day with optional visits to Diyaluma Falls, Lipton's Seat, Ella Rock, or other local viewpoints.
Day 8: Ella to Udawalawe
Stop at Ravana Falls before continuing south. Guests may request an optional visit to Udawalawe National Park. Overnight in Udawalawe.
Day 9: Udawalawe to Hiriketiya
