After arriving at Lake Manyara National Park, your guide will complete the entrance formalities before beginning the game drive. Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and ecologically diverse national parks. Although the park is relatively small compared with Serengeti National Park, it contains a remarkable variety of habitats, including groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, open grasslands, wetlands, hot springs, and the alkaline lake. During the safari, you may encounter large troops of baboons, blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, impalas, bushbucks, and hippos.
