Day 1: Istanbul – Şanlıurfa – Göbekli Tepe & City Highlights
Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Istanbul at 04:30. You’ll be transferred to the airport for your 06:40 flight. Upon arrival at Şanlıurfa Airport around 08:40, our team will greet you and begin the tour.

Göbekli Tepe
Visit the oldest known temple complex in the world, dating back 12,000 years—long before the invention of writing or pottery. The massive T-shaped pillars with animal carvings provide deep insight into the early spiritual life of humankind.

Şanlıurfa Archaeology & Mosaic Museum
Explore one of Turkey’s most impressive museum complexes. The Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum features extraordinary findings from Göbekli Tepe and surrounding regions, while the Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum showcases stunning Roman-era mosaics discovered in situ.

Şanlıurfa City Walk & Bazaar
Wander through the charming alleys of the old town and its bustling covered bazaar. Feel the heartbeat of the city as you explore traditional crafts, spices, and local goods.

Balıklıgöl (The Pool of Abraham)
Visit the sacred site believed to be where Prophet Abraham was thrown into fire by King Nimrod. The serene pool filled with sacred carp and Abraham’s cave are key pilgrimage sites in Islamic tradition.


At the end of the day, you will be transferred to Şanlıurfa Airport for your return flight. Upon arrival in Istanbul, we will drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
