In the early morning hours of the tour day, guests are picked up from their hotels in Goreme and the Cappadocia region (Goreme, Urgup, Avanos, Uchisar, Cavusin, etc.) with round-trip hotel transfers. The journey to Ihlara Valley, located in the southern part of Cappadocia, takes approximately 1 hour by vehicle in comfortable transportation.

Ihlara Valley is not as widely known or popular as the Goreme hot air balloon flight area. However, this creates a significant advantage for guests, as the region generally offers higher flight availability and more flexible scheduling.

When balloon flights in the Goreme region are cancelled due to weather conditions, many tourists staying across Cappadocia prefer to fly from Ihlara Valley instead, making it the most demanded alternative balloon flight area in the region during such periods.

Upon arrival at the take-off area, a safety briefing is provided by the professional balloon crew. Once weather conditions are confirmed suitable, the balloons are prepared and the flight begins at sunrise.

In Ihlara Valley, a maximum of 8 hot air balloons are allowed to take off at the same time, ensuring a quieter, more controlled, and less crowded flight experience compared to other Cappadocia flight zones.

During the approximately 60-minute hot air balloon flight, guests enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the Ihlara Canyon, the Melendiz River, and the surrounding natural rock formations. The valley’s calm atmosphere offers a unique and peaceful ballooning experience.

After landing, a traditional flight celebration and commemorative flight certificate are provided. At the end of the program, guests are transferred back to their hotels in Cappadocia with round-trip transportation included.
