Our sauna experience features two distinct types of saunas: a traditional smoke sauna and a Finnish electric sauna, each designed to cleanse both body and mind. Sauna has been an integral part of Finnish culture for over 2,000 years.

The ancestor of all saunas is the smoke sauna, a traditional form without a chimney. The stove in Kuukkeli’s smoke sauna holds over 600 kilograms of stones, ensuring a long and relaxing bathing experience. Sauna bathing is also a cherished social event – in the warmth of the sauna and during refreshment breaks, you’ll discover what truly matters to Finns. For Finns, the sauna is sacred.

The spa building also houses two typical Finnish electric saunas, alongside a swimming pool and a cozy fireplace area – what more could you wish for?

As the cherry on top, you can enjoy the outdoor hot tub with its soothing warm water or invigorating cold plunge, all under a vast, starry sky. On a lucky evening, the Northern Lights might dance above you. In summer, you can take a refreshing dip in the nearby stream.
