Seattle: Boeing Factory Tour and Future of Flight

Visit the launch site of Boeing’s first airplane, from scenic Lake Union. Witness construction of new aircraft, and enjoy plane-spotting from Boeing’s Skydeck, and pilot f-18 on a flight simulator.
Tour starts at the pick-up location, the Hyatt Regency Seattle (808 Howell Street) we will pick you up on the 8th Ave side of the hotel. (This is the same return location, we can drop off near the Space Needle if time permits) Begin your tour by visiting the historic launch site of Boeing’s very first airplane, built in 1916, on the scenic Lake Union. Then get transported Boeings Future of Flight, and marvel at the massive facility, the largest steel structure in the world, with aircraft hangar doors as long as a football field.

You are exploring only facility in North America where you can witness the construction of new commercial aircraft. See a variety of exhibits showcasing, autonomas aircraft, full size space station module, and try your hand at a flight simulator using an F18 or commerial airliner. The galery also has a full size verical stabelizer from a 747 after 20 years of use.

• First opened in 2005, today, guests nationwide and from around the world visit Boeing Future of Flight. It has
attracted over 6 million guests from all over the world in more than five decades.
• The original Everett factory tours started in 1968, after 747 production began. The first Boeing Tour Center
was a single-trailer that sat next to the Everett factory.
• The Boeing Everett Factory holds the Guinness World Record for the world's largest building by volume:
- Size: The factory has a total volume of 472,370,319 cubic feet (13,376,037.9 m3). That is nearly the same
size as present-day Disneyland Park in Southern California.
- Floor area: The factory has a floor area of 399,480 square meters (98.3 acres).
- Site: The factory site covers 1,025 acres.
• The factory is so large that it could fit 75 American football fields inside. It also has its own weather system.
