Discover the wild edge of Scotland’s West Coast on an open coasteering session from Fort William—an active, sea-level adventure where land meets ocean. Coasteering combines coastal scrambling, sea swimming, and route-finding along a rugged rocky shoreline, giving you a fun, immersive way to experience the marine environment up close.

Meet your guide at West End Car Park on Achintore Road and look for the SeatrekScotland-branded Ford Tourneo Custom Hybrid. After introductions, you’ll be fitted with the equipment you need for comfort and safety: a wetsuit, neoprene socks, buoyancy aid, helmet, and a changing towel. Your guide will then deliver a venue- and activity-specific safety briefing so you know exactly what to expect in the tidal zone.

From the meeting point, you’ll take a short walk to the entry point (“get in”) before starting your coasteering route. Your guide will lead you along the coastline, choosing the best line for the day’s conditions and the group—moving over rocks, through shallow water, and in the sea where needed. Throughout the session, you’ll be supported by a qualified, experienced guide who keeps the pace appropriate and the focus on having a great time.

After your route is complete, warm up with a hot drink and relive the highlights with included photos and videos of your experience—an unforgettable West Coast adventure to take home.
