This half day tour features the Elwha Valley and Marymere Falls at Lake Crescent, which are two top-rated Olympic National Park destinations closest to Port Angeles.
Discover Olympic National Park on an exciting half-day tour.

Departing from Port Angeles, a short 20-minute drive takes into the Elwha Valley. From there, experience a short waterfall walk (0.2 miles) to Madison Creek Falls and viewpoints of the glacier-fed Elwha River.

30 minutes further on the drive, go to Lake Crescent, the centerpiece of the itinerary, and enjoy a 2- to 3-mile guided hike to Marymere Falls and surrounding trails immersed in old-growth forests.

After the hike, wrap the afternoon with a visit inside the historic Lake Crescent Lodge or simply enjoy the beautiful shoreline trails and dock nearby.

This tour begins and ends in Port Angeles, WA, a 3-hour drive from Seattle. To join from Seattle, take the 8:45 AM Seattle-Bainbridge Ferry and catch the 10:20AM Strait Shot Bus with a 12:15PM arrival to the Port Angeles Gateway Transit Center.
Our meet-up location is at our Olympic Hiking Co. Tour Building at 720 Marine Drive, Port Angeles, WA 98363. If you're taking the Strait Shot bus (from the Seattle/Bainbridge Ferry), please contact the activity provider to request a pick-up from the Port Angeles Gateway Transit Center.
