Depart from Hanoi in the early morning & travel through the scenic northern countryside toward Cao Bang Province. Along the journey, enjoy impressive views of mountains, valleys, and rural landscapes that showcase the beauty of Northeast Vietnam

After lunch in Cao Bang City, continue to Pac Bo Historical Site, an important revolutionary landmark where President Ho Chi Minh lived & worked after returning to Vietnam in 1941

Explore the tranquil surroundings of Lenin Stream, famous for its crystal-clear emerald waters, visit Coc Bo Cave & admire the majestic backdrop of Karl Marx Mountain. Stop at the symbolic Km0 Marker, marking the starting point of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. If time allows, visit the Kim Dong Memorial Site, dedicated to the young national hero

Return to Cao Bang City for dinner & enjoy free time to explore the city in the evening

DAY 2: NGUOM NGAO CAVE – BAN GIOC WATERFALL – BA BE LAKE (B, L, D)
After breakfast, begin a journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark, passing the picturesque Ma Phuc Pass

Visit Nguom Ngao Cave, one of Northern Vietnam’s most spectacular limestone caves, renowned for its impressive stalactites & stalagmites formed over millions of years

Continue to Khuoi Ky Stone Village, a centuries-old Tay ethnic village known for its unique stone architecture & peaceful mountain setting

The highlight of the day is Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Asia and the largest natural waterfall in Vietnam. Located on the border between Vietnam & China, the waterfall offers stunning views and unforgettable photo opportunities amid lush green landscapes

After lunch, travel toward Ba Be National Park, stopping at Phuc Sen Blacksmith Village, where traditional forging techniques have been preserved for generations

Arrive at Pac Ngoi Village beside Ba Be Lake in the late afternoon. Check in to a traditional Tay homestay & enjoy a delicious local dinner. In the evening, guests may join an optional cultural exchange featuring traditional Tay folk music & performances

Overnight in Ba Be

DAY 3: BA BE LAKE (B, L)
Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a relaxing boat trip across Ba Be Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam & one of the country's most beautiful natural treasures

Cruise through peaceful waters surrounded by limestone mountains and pristine forests while visiting some of the lake’s most iconic landmarks. Discover the serene Fairy Pond (Ao Tien), visit the sacred An Ma Temple located on a small island & admire the picturesque Widow Island (Ba Goa Islet), associated with local legends about the formation of Ba Be Lake.

After the cruise, return to the homestay for lunch and check out before departing for Hanoi.

Arrive in Hanoi in the evening, concluding an unforgettable journey through the spectacular landscapes, rich history, and ethnic cultures of Northeast Vietnam.
