Experience the turquoise waters of the Verdon by rafting from Castellane. Choose between an 8 km discovery route and a 14 km classic descent, accessible to beginners from 6 years old.
Depart from Castellane to experience rafting on the turquoise waters of the Verdon, in the heart of spectacular landscapes.
After being greeted, get your gear and then meet your instructor for a safety briefing and instruction on basic rafting techniques. No prior experience is necessary: the activity is suitable for beginners and children aged 6 and over who can swim.
Then board with your crew and paddle through the rapids of the Verdon. Between calmer stretches and sections of whitewater, enjoy the river and the rocky landscapes surrounding it. Choose the experience that suits you from two routes.
Discovery Rafting – 8 km offers a shorter descent, particularly suitable for a first experience and for families wishing to discover the thrill of rafting.
Classic Rafting – 14 km offers a more complete descent to enjoy the Verdon for longer. Cover approximately 14 km and spend about 2.5 hours on the water, with more time to alternate between navigating, rapids, and fun moments.
Depending on the route chosen and the river conditions, your instructor may also offer you opportunities for bathing, swimming in the current, or jumping from the rocks. Jumps are always optional.
Whatever route you choose, enjoy a fun and accessible activity to discover the Verdon directly from its river.

Participants must be able to swim and be at least 6 years old.
Bring swimwear and closed shoes.
The activity lasts about 3.5 hours in total, including about 2.5 hours on the water.
The jumps are optional.
The guide may make slight adjustments to the route depending on the water level and the day's conditions. If the conditions require a significant change or do not allow the activity to be carried out, a postponement or full refund will be offered.
Park in the Castellane swimming pool parking lot. You can then take the path that leads to the banks of the Verdon. We will be waiting for you about a hundred meters further on at the entrance to the municipal swimming pool. We have a grey trailer with "COCO, rafting & canyon" stickers.
