Discover the magical essence of Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas on our unforgettable City Tour. Immerse yourself in its streets and landscapes, explore the local culture, and let yourself be captivated by the warmth of its people.
We'll start the tour from the beautiful city of Puerto Varas, also known as the City of Roses, with a stop on the waterfront to appreciate the view of the city from the bay and the "Aurora" sculpture with Lake Llanquihue in the background.
We'll check out its main tourist attractions, including the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (depending on opening availability). We'll explore the Old Quarter, where the first German settlers made their home.
Then we'll head down to the downtown area, skirting the beautiful Lake Llanquihue. If the weather allows, we'll see the imposing Osorno Volcano in the background, which feeds Lake Llanquihue every day with its thawing waters.
We'll head towards Puerto Montt, 20 km to the south, the capital of the Lakes and Volcanoes Region, visiting the highest point of the city, from where we'll have a beautiful panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and Tenglo Island.
From there, we'll head to the Monument to the German Settlers, located in front of the Plaza de Armas, the waterfront pier, enjoying its architectural heritage and mix of cultures.
Later, we'll head towards the Angelmó area, famous in our country for its large number of craft shops and, of course, the fishermen's cove, where we'll learn about the daily activity of the seafarers who come here bringing traditional seafood and fish to be sold at the market.
