Your day begins with hotel pickup in the Punta Cana / Bávaro area, followed by a scenic overland transfer toward the southeastern coast, where the Caribbean Sea opens up in shades of turquoise and emerald. From the coast, board your boat for the crossing toward Saona Island, part of the protected Cotubanamá National Park.

Along the way, stop at the famous "natural pool," a shallow sandbar in the middle of the open sea where the water barely reaches your waist and starfish rest just beneath the surface — one of the most photographed spots in the Caribbean. From there, continue on to Saona Island, where soft white sand and rows of leaning palm trees await. Spend your free time swimming, walking the shoreline, or simply soaking in the scenery, before sitting down to a Dominican-style buffet lunch served right on the island.

As the afternoon winds down, board your boat for the return journey, with Caribbean music and an open bar setting the mood for a relaxed close to the day, before being transferred back to your hotel in Punta Cana / Bávaro.

Please note: depending on daily sea conditions and logistics, the boat used for the outbound and/or return legs may vary between catamaran and speedboat (motomarina). Both options provide a safe and enjoyable way to cross the Caribbean to and from Saona.
