Set off from Naples on a relaxing boat trip into the famous Ten Thousand Islands, a coastal maze of mangroves and waterways known for incredible wildlife. As you cruise, keep your eyes open for bottlenose dolphins and native birds like ospreys and pelicans—with a chance of seeing manatees along the way.
Your captain/guide will bring you to the midpoint of Keewaydin Island and pull up on the inside shore. From here, you’ll step ashore and follow a short forest path (about 150 feet) to reach the Gulf of Mexico beach. Once on the sand, enjoy around 1 hour and 15 minutes of free time to make the most of this natural island escape.
Spend your beach time shelling (please leave live shells), taking a swim, strolling along the shoreline, or simply soaking up the sun. Keewaydin’s quiet, undeveloped feel makes it ideal for a laid-back nature break away from the crowds.
After your beach stop, rejoin the boat for the return cruise to Naples—ending your trip with more scenic views and wildlife-spotting opportunities along the way.
