Begin your adventure in Chefchaouen from your hotel or our agreed meeting point, where we meet before setting off into the beautiful Rif Mountains. From the start, you will leave the busy streets behind and follow scenic trails surrounded by nature, fresh mountain air, and beautiful views.

As we hike, we pass natural water streams and peaceful countryside landscapes before continuing toward the historic Spanish Mosque, one of the best viewpoints overlooking Chefchaouen. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Blue City and surrounding mountains and take some time for photos.

We then continue deeper into the mountains. The trail gradually takes us higher, revealing the rural side of Chefchaouen. Along the way, you will see olive trees, fig trees, vineyards, and local farmland that reflect the agricultural traditions of the region. Depending on the season, you may also see local farmers working in the fields. Your guide will share local knowledge about the landscape, agriculture, traditions, and mountain way of life.

The hike continues uphill through increasingly impressive scenery. As we gain altitude, Chefchaouen becomes smaller in the distance while the Rif Mountains, valleys, and villages open up around us. We make stops along the way to rest, take photographs, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Our highest point is approximately 1,075 meters above sea level. Reaching the summit is one of the highlights of the experience. From here, you can enjoy wide panoramic views over the mountains, valleys, countryside, and villages around Chefchaouen. It is the perfect place to pause, take photos, and appreciate the landscape.

After the summit, we begin our descent toward a traditional mountain village. We make our way to the home of a local mountain family, who warmly welcome us for lunch.

The family prepares a traditional Moroccan tagine, served in a peaceful garden surrounded by nature and beautiful mountain views. This is more than a meal: it is a chance to experience authentic Moroccan hospitality, meet local people, relax after the hike, and discover a side of Morocco away from the usual tourist routes.

After lunch and some time with the family, our experience continues with a comfortable 4x4 transfer from the village. The vehicle takes us through the mountain roads toward the closest convenient point to your hotel.

By the end of the day, you will have experienced much more than a hike. You will have explored the nature around Chefchaouen, visited the Spanish Mosque viewpoint, walked through traditional agricultural landscapes, reached a 1,075-meter summit, enjoyed spectacular mountain views, shared a homemade meal with a local family, and experienced the warmth of Moroccan mountain hospitality.
