Perched dramatically over the Sea of Japan, this cape offers breathtaking views year-round. In summer, admire the vivid Shakotan blue waters, while in autumn, the golden foxtail grasses create a magical, photo-worthy scene.
※Note※The Cape Kamui is closed every October for scheduled inspection.If the promenade cannot be accessed due to inspection, strong winds, or other unavoidable circumstances, the visit will be changed to the Kamui Cape Observatory, with a shorter stay at Kamui Cape and a longer stay in Otaru. Please follow the tour guide’s instructions.
