① Cape Kamui – The Stage of Shakotan Blue
Depart from Sapporo and arrive at Cape Kamui, located at the northwestern tip of Shakotan Peninsula, after about 2 hours. This place is famous for its "Shakotan Blue"—seawater that gleams like a jewel. Walk along the trail to the tip of the cape, flanked by steep cliffs and crashing waves. On clear days, you can gaze far along the magnificent coastline. With a 110‑minute stop, you can slowly appreciate nature's masterpieces (lunch at your own expense; try sea urchin rice bowl at nearby restaurants).

② Yoichi Distillery – The Home of Japanese Whiskey
After about 60 minutes by bus, arrive at the Yoichi Distillery, founded by Masataka Taketsuru, the "Father of Japanese Whiskey". Its latitude and climate are very close to Scotland's, producing authentic Scottish‑style whiskey, earning it the nickname "the Scotland of Japan". Stroll through the distillery grounds, soak in the retro atmosphere of red‑brick buildings and malt aromas, and learn about the history and craftsmanship of whiskey. Finally, after about 20 minutes by bus, arrive at Mount Tengu. Take the ropeway up to the summit observatory.
