Begin your journey with a private minivan pickup from your hotel in Chiang Khong city. Arrive at the Chiang Khong Border Checkpoint for departure formalities and cross the Friendship Bridge to Huay Xai on the border shuttle bus. Complete entry procedures at the Huay Xai immigration office (visa fee not included).
Board your luxury slow boat and begin cruising down the Mekong River toward Pakbeng. Savor a freshly prepared lunch, complimentary tea, and coffee. Stop at a traditional village along the riverbank. Arrive at Pakbeng Village and transfer independently to your pre-booked hotel for the night.
On day 2, return to Pakbeng Pier and enjoy breakfast served on board. Set sail for the final leg of the journey toward Luang Prabang. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, coffee, and tea served while gliding past dramatic limestone karsts.
