Led by a certified maestro mezcalero in a hidden speakeasy setting, this two-hour tasting turns mezcal into a masterclass. It's a speakeasy setting for a maximum of 6 guests — closer to a private session than a bar visit — with traditional copper stills adding an authentic touch to the setting and helping bring the story of mezcal to life.

Your maestro walks you through the spirit's story: its Zapotec origins, the legends that shaped it, and the difference between industrial mezcal and the artesanal bottles the region is known for. You'll learn how agave variety, terroir, roasting, and distillation shape flavor before tasting begins.

The flight includes 7 mezcals from a curated collection of rare and small-batch producers you won't easily find on standard bar menus — from crisp espadín to complex wild agaves like tobalá and tepeztate. Each pour is paired with artesanal Oaxacan salts (including sal de gusano) that bring out specific notes in the spirit.
