OPTION 1 – PRIVATE TOUR: SARMYSHSOY GORGE, NURATA & GIJDUVAN
Duration: approx. 9 hours | Distance: approx. 470 km

Start with pickup from your hotel in Bukhara and drive directly to Sarmyshsoy Gorge, one of Uzbekistan's most remarkable archaeological sites. Explore thousands of ancient petroglyphs depicting animals, hunting scenes, and everyday life dating back thousands of years.

Continue to Nurata and visit the sacred Chashma Complex, famous for its natural spring, holy fish, and religious monuments. Explore the remains of the ancient fortress associated with Alexander the Great and enjoy views over the surrounding area.

Along the route, visit the historic Rabat-i Malik Caravanserai, an important Silk Road monument. Continue to Gijduvan, where you will visit a traditional ceramic school and learn about the town's centuries-old pottery traditions. After the visits, return to Bukhara.

OPTION 2 – PRIVATE TOUR: SARMYSHSOY GORGE & GIJDUVAN
Duration: approx. 6–7 hours | Distance: approx. 320 km

Drive directly from Bukhara to Sarmyshsoy Gorge and explore its fascinating ancient rock carvings and natural scenery.

After Sarmyshsoy, continue to Rabat-i Malik Caravanserai and the nearby Sardoba Cistern, which once served travelers and merchants along the Silk Road. Visit Gijduvan's famous ceramic school and traditional pottery workshop before returning to Bukhara.

OPTION 3 – SMALL-GROUP SHARED TOUR TO SARMYSHSOY GORGE
Duration: approx. 6 hours | Distance: approx. 280 km

Depart Bukhara in the morning and drive directly to Sarmyshsoy Gorge. Explore the spectacular gorge and discover ancient petroglyphs depicting animals, hunters, and scenes of everyday life.
