Discover one of Nepal’s most scenic short trekking routes on this 4-day Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with Hot Springs Experience. This journey combines panoramic Himalayan sunrise views with a relaxing natural hot springs stop in the Annapurna region.
Starting from Pokhara, the trail passes through traditional mountain villages, terraced fields, rivers, and rhododendron forests. As you gradually ascend, the landscape changes from subtropical scenery to alpine environments with increasingly impressive mountain views.
ITINERARY
Day 1 — Pokhara to Nayapul & Trek to Ulleri (2,050m)
After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, we commence our journey from Pokhara to Nayapul in comfortable transport. From Nayapul, our trek to Ulleri unfolds amidst stunning natural beauty, with a gentle hike of approximately 5–6 hours. The trail meanders through lush forests, terraced fields, and charming villages. Immerse yourself in the warm hospitality and vibrant culture of the Magar community as we settle into the cozy atmosphere of Ulleri. Dinner and accommodation arrangements await.
Day 2 — Ulleri (2,050m) to Ghorepani (2,874m)
Following a hearty breakfast, we begin our ascent towards Ghorepani. The trail passes through enchanting rhododendron forests, especially vibrant in spring, and offers glimpses of snow-capped peaks along the way. This trek takes around 5–6 hours, gradually climbing to the picturesque village of Ghorepani. Nestled at the foot of Poon Hill, Ghorepani welcomes us with breathtaking mountain views and a tranquil atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay at a cozy lodge.
Day 3 — Poon Hill (3,210m) Sunrise & Trek to Tadapani (2,630m)
We rise early to hike up to Poon Hill, a vantage point renowned for its spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. As the first rays of light illuminate the majestic peaks, the panorama is truly unforgettable. After soaking in the views, we descend back to Ghorepani for breakfast before continuing our trek to Tadapani. The trail winds through dense forests alive with birdsong, offering occasional glimpses of towering mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in Tadapani.
Day 4 — Tadapani (2,630m) to Ghandruk (1,940m) & Return to Nayapul
After breakfast, we descend towards Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village known for its rich culture and stunning Himalayan backdrop. The trek takes about 3–4 hours, with opportunities to explore the village and learn about Gurung heritage. From Ghandruk, we continue down to Nayapul, where our trek concludes. Comfortable transport awaits to bring us back to Pokhara, marking the end of this memorable journey through the Annapurna region.
