Day 1: Pokhara to Nayapul, Trek to Ulleri
Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, passing rivers, terraced fields, and small villages along the way. From Nayapul, start your trek uphill, winding through lush forests, waterfalls, and local farmland.
The trail is lined with traditional Nepali villages where you can observe daily life. Arrive at Ulleri, a charming village famous for its long stone staircase and beautiful mountain views. Stay overnight in a local tea house, enjoying a warm meal and the hospitality of the villagers.
Day 2: Trek from Ulleri to Ghodepani
Trek through dense rhododendron and oak forests, which bloom in vibrant colors during spring. The trail gradually climbs and offers glimpses of Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Machapuchare (Fishtail). Stop at scenic viewpoints for photography and to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
Arrive at Ghodepani, a picturesque village perched at 2,860 m, surrounded by peaks and clouds drifting through the valley. Stay overnight in a cozy tea house, taking in panoramic mountain views.
Day 3: Poon Hill Sunrise and Trek to Tadapani
Wake up early to hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m) for one of the most famous sunrises in Nepal. Watch the sun rise over the Himalayan giants: Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, and Machapuchare, turning the snow-capped peaks golden.
After sunrise, return to Ghodepani for breakfast, then descend along scenic trails through forests and streams to Tadapani, a serene village surrounded by greenery. Experience the peaceful mountain ambiance and stay overnight in a tea house.
Day 4: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk
Trek downhill through terraced farmlands, forests, and traditional villages, enjoying uninterrupted views of Machapuchare (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. Stop at small villages to meet Gurung locals, learn about their culture, and see traditional architecture.
Arrive at Ghandruk, a cultural gem and one of the largest Gurung villages in the Annapurna region. Explore the village and take in the spectacular Himalayan scenery. Stay overnight in a tea house.
Day 5: Ghandruk to Pokhara by Jeep
After breakfast, take a jeep ride back to Pokhara, enjoying the scenic drive through valleys, rivers, and forests. Arrive in Pokhara and enjoy some leisure time by Phewa Lake, shopping for souvenirs, or relaxing with local cuisine.
