Discover the beauty of Nærøyfjord on a full-day trip from Bergen. Visit the charming villages of Gudvangen & Undredal, admire the views of Sognefjord from Stegastein & enjoy a scenic Flåmsbana ride.
Begin your journey from Bergen and drive by the fabulous Osterøy, where Vikings once resided. Pass by the cold and severe town of Vossevangen, or simply Voss, and stop by the famous Tvindefossen (Tvinde Waterfall) before reaching the dramatic valley of Gudvangen. Spend some time admiring the tall mountains of the valley and maybe hit a Viking museum.
Continue to the charming village of Undredal, with its quiet and undisturbed way of life. This village is a hidden gem, with 10 times more goats than inhabitants. After visiting two villages of the lovely Nærøyfjord, continue to the very end of it until you reach the breathtaking view out of Stegastein, a must-see viewpoint.
After marking your presence at one of 18 Norwegian Scenic Routes, go back to magical Flåm, where you will have some free time before getting on a scenic train ride by Flåmsbana. This is one of the steepest railways in the world, with spectacular views and explanations in your language. One of the stops offers a beautiful waterfall, which you will be able to contemplate getting off the train for several minutes. If you are quick enough, you can spot a hyldra.
The Flåmsbana ride ends in mystical Myrdal, where you change the train and get back to Voss, in order to reunite with your guide who will take you back to Bergen.

The tour includes a scenic train ride which is not guided, but information is available on monitors and brochures. Guests should be able to get off the train (Flåmsbana) and get on a local train (VY) themselves in Myrdal. It is a simple train station with just 2 railways / 1 platform. You will basically need to walk 3 meters / 10 feet between the trains.
Myrdal is the final stop of Flåmsbana.
The tour operates in all kinds of weather.
