Witness the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, a stunning natural light phenomenon that occurs in the polar regions, typically visible at night. This phenomenon is caused by electrically charged particles from the sun (solar wind) colliding with gases in Earth's atmosphere, primarily oxygen and nitrogen, resulting in different amazing colors.

The most common color is green, caused by oxygen at lower altitudes, while red appears at higher altitudes. Nitrogen contributes to shades of blue or purplish light. To witness the Northern Lights, three key elements must align: clear sky, darkness, and activity on the KP Index.
