What better way to understand coastal life in Palawan than by heading out to sea with a local fisherman from Sibaltan? This small fishing village on the eastern coast of El Nido is known for preserving traditional fishing practices passed down through generations.
As the morning unfolds, you’ll learn how fishing is part of daily life in Sibaltan, simple, sustainable, and deeply connected to the rhythm of the sea. The experience takes place from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, this experience blends time spent fishing on the water with a relaxing stop on a private island to snorkel. Afterwards, we’ll return to Efrena Beach, where we’ll cook and grill the fish you caught and prepare kinilaw, a traditional local dish.
This half-day experience offers a genuine cultural connection, unhurried and immersive.
