Following the Riu Amadorio, you’ll enjoy a scenic walk through farmland and fields until reaching the historic Embalse de Relleu, a 17th-century dam set against a dramatic mountain backdrop. From here, the path leads to the highlight of the day: the Pasarela de Relleu.

The highlight of your adventure is the thrilling walkway, suspended high above the gorge. As you step onto the walkway, you'll feel the adrenaline surge as you cross the swaying structure, with the deep canyon far below. After crossing the platform, the trail loops back towards the village along the Camino de Santiago. The hike is around 9.5 km with 200 m of elevation gain — mostly flat and suitable for anyone with a basic level of fitness. The walk out to the platform takes about 1.5 hours, while the return is around 1 hour.

Once back in Relleu, you’ll have time to relax at a local spot, enjoy drinks and tapas, or sit down for a menú del día before heading back. This experience combines history, culture, and adrenaline, making it an unforgettable way to discover one of Alicante’s hidden gems.
