Experience the thrill of paragliding over Chamonix on a tandem flight with an instructor. Take in views of the Mont-Blanc massif and the Aiguilles de Chamonix as you soar through the air.
Meet your instructor at the Aiguille du Midi cable car station in Chamonix. Together, take the cable car up to Planpraz, located at an altitude of about 2,300 meters. Once you arrive at the launch site, your instructor will explain the flight process and give you the necessary instructions for a smooth takeoff.
After a few steps to take off, let yourself be gently carried by the paraglider and discover Chamonix from the air. Sit comfortably in your harness and enjoy an exceptional panorama of the Chamonix Valley and the Mont Blanc Massif. Depending on visibility conditions, admire Mont Blanc, the Aiguilles de Chamonix, and the iconic peaks of the valley.
The flight usually lasts around 20 minutes, but its duration may vary depending on weather and aerological conditions. Your pilot will adapt the route and duration of the flight to the day's conditions to ensure you make the most of this experience.
If you wish and if conditions allow, your instructor can also introduce you to some piloting sensations and more dynamic turns. You can, of course, choose to enjoy a calm and contemplative flight to fully appreciate the landscape.
The entire activity lasts about 1.5 hours, including the meeting, the ascent to Plan de l'Aiguille, preparation, the flight, and landing in the Chamonix Valley.
Your instructor will handle the piloting and accompany you throughout the experience. Simply follow their instructions, take a few steps for takeoff, and fully enjoy the exceptional panorama.
To prolong the memory of this experience, photos and videos taken during the flight can be offered as an option.
