Arusha: 3-Day Safari - Arusha Park, Tarangire & Lake Manyara

Experience the best of Tanzania, exploring the diverse landscapes of Arusha National Park, the elephant-filled plains of Tarangire, and the famous tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara.
Day 1: Arrival & Briefing in Arusha

Upon your arrival in Tanzania, our team will meet you at your hotel in Arusha for a comprehensive briefing. During this session, we'll review your safari itinerary, discuss any special requests, and ensure you're fully prepared for the upcoming adventure. Airport transfers from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport can be arranged upon request.

Day 2: Arusha – Arusha National Park – Arusha

After a hearty breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park, a hidden gem with stunning landscapes ranging from lush montane forests to open savannahs and the striking Ngurdoto Crater. Enjoy a game drive where you may spot giraffes, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, and a variety of primates, including the black-and-white colobus monkey.

Optional activities such as a guided walking safari or canoeing on the Momella Lakes can be arranged. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After an early breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and abundant wildlife including lions, leopards, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic haven famous for its tree-climbing lions, pink flamingos, and diverse birdlife. Explore its lush forests, open plains, and soda lake on a game drive. In the afternoon, return to Arusha for your overnight stay or onward journey.

Day 5: Optional Add-Ons & Departure

This day is reserved for optional add-on activities—whether that’s a Arusha City tour, cultural village tour, a visit to the Serval Wildlife Sanctuary, or another experience you’ve had your eye on. The timing will depend on your flight schedule, so once your departure time is confirmed, we’ll align everything, so you get the most out of the day without rushing.
For those departing on the same day, airport transfers can be arranged upon request.
