Day 1: Kampala Cultural Tour & Heritage Landmarks

Begin your day with a local guide from Tembea Kampala Walking Tours or Free Walking Tours Kampala. Explore the Kasubi Tombs, the UNESCO World Heritage site and burial ground for Buganda kings.

Head to Kabaka's Palace (Lubiri) in Mengo, walk the historic Royal Mile, and view the adjacent administrative and dark historical sites. Taste local Ugandan dishes or grab a famous street-food rolex (egg rolled in a chapati).
