Begin your journey in Semliki National Park, a haven for nature enthusiasts and bird lovers. Explore the lowland tropical rainforest, home to over 440 bird species, forest elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and several primates, including chimpanzees and olive baboons. Visit the Sempaya Hot Springs, where you can boil eggs in the bubbling waters, and learn about the Batwa (Pygmy) communities, one of Africa’s oldest surviving forest cultures.

Next, head to Kibale National Park, often called the “Primate Capital of the World.” Trek through the tropical rainforest to encounter chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, blue monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys.
