Meet your instructor right in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and kick off with a warm welcome and a quick, engaging introduction to Vietnamese coffee culture—how locals drink it, why it’s so beloved, and what makes each style unique.
Next, dive into traditional brewing as you learn to use the iconic Vietnamese phin filter. You’ll see how to set it up, control the drip, and build bold flavor the classic way.
Then it’s hands-on time: with step-by-step guidance, you’ll craft three signature drinks—rich egg coffee, refreshing coconut coffee (a guest favorite), and surprisingly smooth salt coffee.
Finish by tasting everything you made, asking your questions, and leaving with easy-to-follow recipes so you can recreate the experience at home.

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early at the workshop meeting point.
The class lasts about 1 hour and includes hands-on coffee making + tasting.
You’ll be using coffee, egg, coconut, and dairy/condensed milk—not suitable for some allergies or strict diets.
Caffeine content can be strong; consider this if you’re sensitive to caffeine.
Wear comfortable clothes—coffee making can be a little messy.
Times are daily; let the host know if you’re running late (late arrivals may miss steps).
Our workshop is located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter (Address: 78A Trần Nhật Duật Street), next to FUTA Ha Son.
