Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Your first stop is the Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, originally constructed in the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De.
Next, head to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you can see the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the resting place of the Vietnamese revolutionary leader. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969, and the One Pillar Pagoda, Asia’s most unique piece of architecture.
Continue to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which focuses on the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. If you visit on a Monday, the Women’s Museum will be visited instead.
