Saguenay: Winter Dog Sled Adventure

Meet the huskies, learn how the cart is prepared, and set off on a dog pulled ride through nature in Saguenay. Spend time with the animals and enjoy the outdoor setting.
Step into the world of sled dogs on this outdoor cart ride in Saguenay, where time with the animals is just as important as the ride itself. Over the course of around 2 hours, visit a kennel that is home to more than 65 Alaskan Huskies, meet the dogs up close, watch the cart being prepared, and head out into nature for a memorable dog pulled experience.

Your activity begins at base, where the guides welcome you and introduce the dog team. Spend time getting to know the huskies and enjoy direct contact with them before the ride begins. Curious, affectionate, and used to working closely with people, the dogs are a central part of the experience and help make the visit feel personal from the start.

As the outing continues, learn more about the Alaskan Husky breed. Originally developed for performance rather than appearance, these dogs are known for their energy, endurance, and strength in northern environments. You will then watch the cart preparation and see how the experience comes together before departure.

Once everything is ready, set off on the ride and travel through the natural surroundings behind the husky team. The outing combines fresh air, movement, and time outdoors with the special atmosphere of traveling alongside dogs bred for this kind of adventure.
