Our journey begins in the historic Plaza Sotomayor, the heart of the port, where you'll learn about the maritime heritage that shaped Chile. From there, we’ll step back in time as we ride one of the city's iconic century-old funiculars, whisking us up into the hills where the real magic happens.
As we traverse Cerro Concepción and Cerro Alegre, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors. We’ll guide you through hidden passages and "pasajes" lined with stunning street art, Victorian architecture, and cozy cafés. You’ll learn the stories behind the most famous murals and why Valparaíso has become a global mecca for urban artists.
Throughout the walk, we’ll stop at several panoramic viewpoints ("miradores") to capture the perfect photo of the bay and the multicolored houses spilling down toward the sea. This tour involves 4-5 hours, so come with a lot of free time. The experience ends at Casa Atahualpa. Guests may request to stay overnight if rooms are available; accommodation is not included in the experience price. If no rooms are available, clear directions will be provided to return to the city center or your hotel.
A minimum of 4 participants is required. If this minimum is not met, the experience will be rescheduled or a full (100%) refund will be issued.
