Upon arrival, you'll get to know Cholonga, an Ecuadorian sustainable fashion brand that works with craftswomen and promotes the value of traditional techniques. You'll discover how fashion, creativity, and craftsmanship come together to bring unique pieces to life.

2. Learn the history of toquilla straw
You'll learn about the history and cultural importance of toquilla straw in Ecuador, as well as its connection to the traditional hat known internationally as the Panama Hat, a craft tradition recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

3. Meet your fashion designer
You will share this experience with Lissette Serrano, a local fashion designer, who will accompany you during the creative process. You'll discover how inspiration, colors, and design come together to create a piece with its own personality.

4. Customize your handmade coin purse
It's time to let your imagination run wild! You'll receive a toquilla straw purse and the materials needed to decorate it. You'll be able to experiment with acrylic paints, combine colors, and create details that reflect your style. No previous artistic experience is needed: the designer will guide you and share tips so that you can enjoy every step.

5. Enjoy a creative moment

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time in order to begin promptly
